Heat-Staking/Ultrasonic Inserts

Those inserts are supposed to be installed while the heat or ultrasonic power presented after the molding, they are suitable to all of thermoplastics. Those inserts represent great advantages over other kinds speaking of the yield rate and pass rate for massive production.

Cold Press-in Inserts

Cold Press-in Inserts are generally suitable to the soft and medium plastics, but some models are also applicable to hard plastics. The installation is quite simple, just squeeze the insert into molded or drilled plastic hole is enough. The free running thread types also can be installed by heat staking or ultrasonic technologies to get improved torque and pull-out performance.

Molded-in Inserts

Those inserts are designed for installation during the injection molding, they are suitable for all thermoplastics and thermosetting plastics, the structure of the inserts are simplest but need well control of the minor ID of the female thread.

Self-tapping Inserts

Some hard thermosetting plastics will prefer the self-tapping inserts.
